No school March 7th and 10th for teacher development days. 

March Field Trip: For our March Field Trip we will have a special visitor from Bobby Lawrence Karate come to talk to us about respect and responsibility.  Date: TBA

 

Literacy: We will continue to practice the Spalding Phonograms. We will work on writing opinion pieces with three supporting reasons. 

Math: We will finish learning about shapes and 3-D Shapes.  We will take a math test on what we have learned about time, and shapes on Thursday. 

Science: We will be having science with Mrs. Pili

Social Studies:  We will finish learning about Ancient Egypt.

Week 23

1. No homework for the rest of the week while we review some important math concepts in class. Enjoy your break.

2. Parent Teacher Conferences- Parent Teacher Conferences will be on February 25th and 26th.You can begin signing up for appointments on Tuesday January 21st.  Please sign up for an appointment so I have time left in my schedule to meet with you!

3. Book Fair!- There will be a Scholastic Book Fair at our school during parent teacher conferences. Make sure to check it out in the library. 

4. Volunteering in the Classroom: If you would like to volunteer in the classroom please email me to set up a time.  The best time for volunteers to come is from 8:30-11:30.
