Week 16

Announcements:

December Field Trip: We will be visiting the BYU art museum for our December Field Trip!  We will be attending during the morning of   Monday, December 2nd.  We will leave the school at 9:15 and return to school  at 12:30.  We will each lunch at school when we return.  There is no fee for this field trip! 

Book Orders: If you wish to order something from the December Book Order, please place your order by Friday, December 6th. This will be our last book order before Christmas.  If you want to order books as a Christmas present please email me and let me know and I will not send the order home with your child.

What we are learning this week:

 

Literacy: We will continue to practice the Spalding Phonograms. We will learn about adjectives.  We will practice writing multiple sentences about the same topic.   

Math:We will continue to learn how to add two digit numbers to one digit numbers. 

Science: We will now be having science during our rotation time.  We will be learning science from Mrs. Pili the second grade teacher. 

Social Studies: We will study the similarities and differences between different types of communities. 

Health: We will continue to learn about germs and how to prevent them from spreading. We are working really hard to keep our class healthy!
